Apple Peanut Butter Toast

There was a time in high school when I would eat this apple peanut butter toast at least once a day. It was everything I was looking for in a snack: simple, delicious, healthy, and made in minutes. Plus, it had some of my favorite things: apples, peanut butter, and bread! 🙂

I’ve been rediscovering this old favorite over the last couple of weeks, and my opinion hasn’t changed. With its satisfying array of flavor and textures, it still makes a perfect snack or quick breakfast.


Apple Peanut Butter Toast

Yield: 1-2 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2-4 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1-2 tablespoons raisins
  • 1-2 tablespoons peanuts
  • cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Toast your bread.
  2. Spread peanut butter evenly on both slices, then top with apples, raisins, and peanuts.
  3. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
