Banana Blueberry Smoothie
In my house, summer is Smoothie Season. There’s something so delightfully refreshing about drinking a smoothie when the weather turns hot and sticky and yucky. 🙂
Smoothies are also a great way to sneak more fruit, veggies, and protein into your diet. I sometimes lose my appetite when it gets overly warm outside, so smoothies have always been a great way to counteract some of that.
The banana, blueberries, and almond butter make this smoothie irresistibly creamy, filling, and delicious– and such a pretty color, too!
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 frozen banana
- ½ cup frozen blueberries
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
- sweetener, to taste
- Pour everything into a blender and process until smooth.
