Breakfast Power Bowl

Ready for one of the heartiest, most filling breakfasts that you can make in just five minutes?

With a breakfast power bowl filled with protein, fiber, and healthy fats, you’ll face your day with energy to spare. The variety of color, texture, and flavor make this an incredibly satisfying meal– and with a simple and wholesome ingredient list full of things you probably already have in the house, it’s a nutrient-dense breakfast you can whip up quickly and with very little fuss.

Whether you’re spending a fun, active morning outside or just running everyday errands, this power bowl will keep you happy and full and going until lunch. πŸ™‚


Breakfast Power Bowl

Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients

  • ΒΌ cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt*
  • ΒΌ cup cottage cheese*
  • ΒΌ cup granola (or oats)
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree or unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tablespoons dried cranberries (or dried fruit of choice)
  • 2 tablespoons cashews (or nuts of choice)
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower or pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • sprinkle of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Dump everything into a bowl! Keep each ingredient separate or mix everything together. Sweeten if desired and sprinkle with cinnamon. Enjoy!

*To make this recipe vegan, substitute the Greek yogurt and cottage cheese with a vegan-friendly yogurt.
